Our condolences go out to the families of those lost in Hurricane Sandy and related storms. The New York and New Jersey ports saw some damage but no crane collapses. Ferries were running again today as life returned to Manhattan and the other Boroughs.
The tanker across the roadway will be a lasting image of the storm and the fourteen foot storm surge.
