USCG Locates Aircraft Missing 70 Years

A military aircraft lost in 1942 near Greenland was recently found by the U.S. Coast Guard under 38 feet of ice. The Grumman Duck crashed with a crew of three while attempting to rescue the crew of a downed B-17.  There are more details available in this Maritime Executive article.
